Oh yeah, heard about the smoke. Glad we’re not dealing with that too. We had some bad wildfires here last summer – pretty close, inside the city – and I’m hoping we don’t have a repeat this summer with the heat and no rain…

The comic is going to start out as your basic “teenage hero learning the ropes” type of story, but it’ll end up being more about the city itself and all the crazy goings-on. This is my first real attempt at something like this, so I’m keeping it fairly simple at first – just to practice my writing and storytelling.

I’ve been to the last few ECCCs as a fan, but this is’ll be my first attempt at going to a con as an “artist” at all. Don’t know how well it’ll go, but I’m planning on sharing a table or 2 with a couple of other local artist friends, so it should be fun regardless. That’d be cool if you made it down for it as well!

that sucks man about the weather, its really smokey in fairbanks right now and hot if thats any consolation. but hey, cold beer on a hot day whats not to love? I talked to Alex the other day, he said that you were heading to Emerald City this next year, thats awesome. I’m actually going to attempt to come down for it as well, I wanna try and start getting my own work out. if you dont mind me asking, whats yer superhero story going to be about? I have a few stories that im working on and will also have ready for the con, but ya never know, im not the best writer in the world, haha.
